The Luciole team is proud to announce the release 0.9.3 of Luciole.

CAUTION !!! : This version remains a alpha version. Stability is improved
since version 0.9.2

New features :
 - Now on webcam detection (in new project assistant or properties),
 the webcam with set definition is played on viewer window. so now
 we can preview the result of selected webcam properties ( definition,
 videotype, framerate)
 - Menus as added to report bug, ask a question, and help on translations
 - New languages templates added : Hebrew, Indonesian, Malayalam, Occitan,
        Portuguese, Russian, Serbian, Swedish

Know problems :
 - Mixer features does not work
 - Acquisition from DV cam should be implemented ( urgent ! ). try with udev ?
 - Only export to file is implemented with sound
 - assistant p...

0.9.2 (And sound finally arrives) release from the 0.9 series released

The Luciole team is proud to announce the release 0.9.2 Luciole.

WARNIG !!! This version is a highly alpha version of luciole. Prefer luciole
0.8.6 for standard usage.
This is the first version who integrates a sound track.

Changelog:

New features :
- Sound track can be added. Only wav files accepted
- Timeline management with PiTiVi. implies huge changes of luciole
- Webcam detection improved. No more use of HAL replaced by udev
- Webcam definition / framerates / videotypes can now be selected
- Acquisition can now be made in full webcam definition or PAL definition

Know problems :
- Mixer features does not work
- Acqusisition from DV cam should be implemented ( urgent ! ). try with udev ?
- Only export to file is implemented with sound
- assistant page webcam when back/ rewind action the cam detection appears
 twice ...
- i18n with gettext to improve
- code cleaning needed (remove unused files and classes)
- GUI tuning needed : in particular the aspect ratio of viewer window
- Problems of display when no acquisition is set ( digicam mode)

The Luciole team is proud to announce the release 0.8.7 of Luciole. This version is the stable one.

The goal of this version is to assure compatibility with ubnutu Maverick
and Natty. Problems of webcam detection (use of gudev instead
of hal) and gstreamer(image capture does not work) was encountered.

he Luciole team is proud to announce the release 0.8.6 of Luciole.

This version is a bug correction release, due to bug raised in luciole 0.8.5
and translation updates.

i18n update for more compatibility with automatic launchpad translation
New languages : Portuguese, Indonesian, Russian, Hungarian and a bit of Turkish

Now project can be opened from any location. Luciole Project (and folder) can
now be moved, and opened from any folder.
Special thanks to jorge and his patch.

Addition of accelerators (key mapping). usual accelerators added
( CTRL+S for save, ...) and some specific ones :
  key 'a' : Start/stop acquisition
  key 'space' : takes a snapshot
  key 'Suppr' : remove image from montage vie,
  key'CTRL+Suppr': remove image from capture view

The Luciole team is proud to announce the release 0.8.1 of Luciole.
This version is a major issue with new features and bug updates.

What's new ?
 - Luciole can now export a project to cinelerra , kdenlive and pitivi video
editing tools.
 - The CPU consumption during live acquisition was seriously reduced. So now
Luciole can run on old or small (like netbooks) machines. On project properties
a slider is now available to select the webcam framerate.
 - Compatible with more webcams and video cards
 - On the invisible side : now Luciole use gtk.builder instead of
libglade( deprecated). And new logging /debug options (-v)
 - Luciole is now available in :
    - english
    - french
    - german
    - italian
    - spanish
 - bug fix
