Bug Description

Mythvideo: trunk/0.22
Theme: Mythbuntu 9.10
I ran apt-get on 2009-09-13 and am up to date on all mythtv/mythbuntu packages.

The following are some inconsistencies I've found. The context for all of these is a "Season X" folder under a "TVShow" folder containing ripped episodes. Mythvideo pulled out the season/episode numbers since I named my files with SxxExx. I am in the directory structure viewing mode.

1. When you are on "Season X" and push Right to get over to the episode listing, the line at the very top of the theme will say "PATH > TVShow > Season X > TVShow Xx01 -". If you then push Down, the very top will then say "PATH > TVShow > Season X > TVShow Xx02 - EpisodeName". If you then push Up, the very top will then also show that episode's name.

2. Under the folder-based listing, currently the following info is shown (roughly):
TVShow Year (right aligned)
Director
Plot
Cast

Wouldn't it make more sense to show:
TVShow - Episode Name (title - subtitle) Year (right aligned)
The other parts keep as-is.

3. Up in the folder-based listing, what the buttons show seems inconsistent. The usual case is to see "TVShow 1x01 - Episode Name". If the text is too long, it'll be "TVShow 1x01 - Epis..." and sometimes (but not always) after keeping a button selected for a little bit it'll simply show "Episode Name". Wouldn't it make more sense to switch to "Episode Name" immediately upon selection if the text is too long to also show the show name? This point is kinda moot if #2 is addressed.

Hopefully I've been clear. Please ask if more info is needed.

Regarding point #1...
After playing around with the new theme some more while adding custom fanart, my first point doesn't always happen. I know I saw it earlier today (no apt-get between then and now) but just now things worked as expected.

Similarly, another item...
4. Sometimes the text shown at the very top doesn't match the selected button.
- This one also is inconsistent.
- I cycled through my Heroes Season 2 listing and when it was on the last one so was the text at the top. I then cycled through the Season 1 videos and when Episode 23 was selected, up top the text said Episode 22.

About issue 4...
It seems to happen when I quickly press the up/down keys. Not sure if that helps since I'd expect the theme/mythvideo to handle all the up/down events anyway so display of current info should be accurate.

About the screenshots...
Yes, they're taken via VNC viewer. Yes, I double checked by both explicitly refreshing the VNC screen and by looking on the TV.

Are updating the metadata when you are seeing these problems?
If so let the metadata finish updating and exit to the menu and slowly count to 4 and go back in see if it is still happening.

These problems all happen after I update metadata, leave mythvideo, wait 10 seconds, and go back into mythvideo.
