lintian has been patched in the upstream git branch by Colin Watson. The changes can be seen in the following email that was sent to the debian-lint-maint mailing list. We should wait until upstream releases a new lintian package, and then sync it.

From LP Bug #241223:

"apt-show-versions switched from hardcoded release names list to a
dynamic approach, therefore adding ubuntu release names is not needed anymore."

This means that there is nothing that needs to be done to make this package recognize jaunty.

debchange was updated in upstream SVN to recognise jaunty on Saturday. That change will be in the Debian 2.10.40 package when it's released.

I think I'll just do lintian for jaunty anyway, since I'm not sure when the next Debian lintian release is planned; we can always sync it later.

  * frontend/lintian:
    + [ADB] Accept "html" as a valid argument for --color again.

  * lib/Lintian/Output.pm:

  * man/lintian.1:
    + [ADB] Document that "--color=html" is supported again.
