The 'Show Desktop' button is not 'transparent' when using 'transparent' panel.

This patch also shows how to use an alpha background color for prelit and toggled states to get the same effect.

Yes, it's still here. Please adopt this patch to Ambiance as well if you'll be committing it.

@Andrea,

GTK 3.4 broke the method that gnome-panel uses to simulate transparency (bug# 966697 has the link to the upstream gnome-bugs). I'm not sure whether this was intentional or not, so I haven't addressed it in gnome-panel.

At this point, I feel it doesn't make sense to invest effort in this bug until that's fixed.
