Bug Description

Binary package hint: udev

I have the following Bluetooth dongle:
Bus 004 Device 002: ID 0a5c:2101 Broadcom Corp. Bluetooth Controller

With version 161+git20100820-1 of udev, the device is not detected and bluetoothd is not started. Downgrading to 151-12 makes it work again. Starting bluetoothd manually on the new version of udev also works. /etc/init.d/bluetooth {start, restart} doesn't work.

This bug was fixed in the package bluez - 4.69-0ubuntu2

---------------
bluez (4.69-0ubuntu2) maverick; urgency=low

  * debian/bluez.bluetooth.init: udev's default action for "trigger" changed
to "change", so explicitly request "add" actions; that's what our rule
matches on. Fixes detection of BT devices at boot. (LP: #621911)
