BYOBU_PREFIX should be set as part of configure

Bug Description
I just pulled the latest version from bzr. I generated the configure and Makefile.in scripts, ran "configure --prefix=
When I ran the new byobu, it said I needed to set BYOBU_PREFIX. The README says the same.
I expected that after running ./configure with --prefix, that it should know where I installed.
Bonus points for letting "make install prefix=/some/dir" change where it is installed without modifying this configured default.

Agreed. I need to think about the best way to solve this. I suppose a big fat 'sed' would do it, but I need to think about it a bit more...
