Bug Description

Binary package hint: ibus

Ubuntu 10.04
dbus 1.2.16-2ubuntu4
anthy 9100h-0ubuntu2

What is expected:
Typing "cya" should convert to "ちゃ"

What happens:
After switching to japanese input method and typing "cya" this converts to "cや".

Additional information:
I have not been able to write ちゃ with ubuntu 10.04. This worked in Ubuntu 9.04 and is also the behavior in Windows (which I use to write the bug report, since I can't write ちゃ on my linux).

I confirm that on Lucid (iBus with ibus-anthy), "cya" converts into "cや".

(Therefore, it is possible to write "ちゃ" by typing "cha".)

Hi,

indeed, 'cha' converts to ちゃ. (good to know)

But still it is a bug since 'cya' should also work.

ibus-anthy 1.2.1-1 in 10.10 already fixed this problem
ibus-anthy 1.2.0.20100115-1 in 10.04 still have this problem
