Movie Player --- Error searching for videos

I have suddenly the very same problem.

I can also reproduce the issue, the messages here are:

Accepted libgdata into lucid-proposed, the package will build now and be available in a few hours. Please test and give feedback here. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Thank you in advance!

I'm on the lucid-proposed libgdata6 package version 0.5.2-0ubuntu1 and it appears to now be working!

Same with me. I have updated the libgdata6 package and searching for videos on Movie Player is working fine again. Thanks a lot for sorting this out!

the proposed package indeed fixes the issue, haven't noticed any regressions so far, youtube works fantastic on totem again. Marking this as verification done, thanks all for the hard work.

im having the same problem, works fine until the package updates, then i get the error as follows :

Error Searching for Videos

The response from the server could not be understood. Please check you are running the latest version of libgdata.

any way of fixing this??
