Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

When booting from a USB key, the welcome screen and the desktop icon identify the release as "Ubuntu 10.04" rather than "Ubuntu 10.04 LTS". The LTS is an important part of the name of this product, and should be included. I noticed this issue in at least 3 places in the Welcome screen, and on the desktop icon. It may also appear in other places - I wasn't able to check the whole thing.

Are there different icons for, e.g., Xubuntu and UNE vs. Ubuntu Desktop?

Those flavors use ubiquity but are not LTS releases, so it's also important to *not* identify them as such

I'd like to change DEBVERSION in debian-cd to be 10.04 LTS instead of 10.04. We'll have to check for programs that parse .disk/info and assume space delimiters (Wubi comes to mind).

At the moment, casper seds this into the ubiquity-gtkui and ubiquity-kdeui desktop files. Given that UNE and Xubuntu are not LTS releases, we could check DISTRIB_ID in /etc/lsb-release and if it's "Ubuntu" or "Kubuntu", include LTS if it exists in .disk/info, otherwise parse as we did before.

Since booting from USB / CD is likely to be the first time a new user gets to see Ubuntu, it would be most helpful to spell it out: Long time support in stead of LTS.
