Bug Description

I decided to give MythBuntu 10.04 beta a try, but coming from Arch Linux, I am surprised to see that MythTV is built without libfaad/HE-AAC support in MythBuntu. libfaad support has been required to get sound on half of the available free to air channels in Denmark, after the plug on analogue television was pulled ~5 months ago. Denmark was one of the first European countries to make the switch to MPEG-4 AVC, but as you can see on the following link, around half of the European countries will be making the switch to MPEG-4 AVC as well, within the next few years:
http://www.digitag.org/ASO/ASO.html

I've confirmed the issue by recompiling the mythtv package ("apt-get source mythtv", adding "--enable-libfaad" to debian/rules, "apt-get -b source mythtv", etc.), and I now have sound on all channels, including the new MPEG-4 AVC channels.

Any chance you can add the "--enable-libfaad" flag to the (auto)build process? It's impossible to have autobuild enabled, if you looses sound on every update :-/

Please upgrade to 25073 or later. I've looked at the build log and libfaab support is still there.
