The icon was added in humanity-icon-theme (0.5.1) lucid; urgency=low

the icon name is "tomboy-panel" , and named similar to the other panel icons. This needs to be fixed in tomboy to use the icon

Tomboy uses the same icon[icon name: "tomboy" ] for the panel and the menu.
To restrict the use of the monochrome icon only to the panel, it needs to use a separate icon name for the panel.

Preferably an icon named "tomboy-panel" or "tomboy-symbolic" .

This bug is an upstream one and it would be quite helpful if somebody experiencing it could send the bug the to the people writing the software. You can learn more about how to do this for various upstreams at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream.
Once submitted upstream , do report back here with the upstream bug number.
Thanks in advance!

I've submitted a patch upstream that first attempts to load the "tomboy-panel" icon. If that icon does not exist then it attempts to load to original "tomboy" icon. This will allow icon themes to customize the panel icon used for Tomboy.

I'm going to provide my patch here just in case Tomboy 1.2.0 is not going to make it into Lucid. Not sure if we want to use this patch for Lucid or not but at least we'll have the option.

I think this icon should also be used for the Tomboy's Gnome-Panel applet. Is it planned? Should I submit another bug report?
