Bug Description

I found this bug annoying that the Xfce Power Manager would crash everytime I resumed from suspend. Then I would find myself with a dead laptop battery after a period of time if I forgot to run the power manager again.

There was a fix released upstream in 0.8.4.1
The patch was: http://bugzilla.xfce.org/attachment.cgi?id=2615

TEST CASE:
1. Run xfce4-power-manager from karmic archive
2. Suspend
3. xfce4-power-manager should have crashed upon resume
4. Install version from -proposed (0.8.4-1ubuntu2)
5. Run xfce4-power-manager
6. Suspend
7. xfce4-power-manager should still be running

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Binary package hint: xfce4-power-manager

When I resume from suspend, the power manager disappears.

Hi,

Thanks for your work on this.

I would also like to fix the bug about missing icons in battery notifications (regression caused by some xubuntu-specific patch [xubuntu-use-notification-icons.patch], it's a one-liner, see https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+archive/primary/+files/xfce4-power-manager_0.8.4.2-1ubuntu1_0.8.4.2-1ubuntu2.diff.gz).

I'll try to file a report to describe the bug and verification procedure, update your debdiff and upload (very) soon.
