Bug Description
Binary package hint: evolution
Steps to reproduce :
1) write a new mail in Evolution
2) select part of one line
3) right click to show contextual menu
Expected result :
selection is kept and it is possible to choose "copy" from the menu
Actual result :
selection is lost
Note that if selection contains the beginning of the line it works.
I can reproduce it in plain text, html in Evolution 2.26 and 2.28
According to tests with upstream and Ubuntu users this seems to be Ubuntu specific.

There is no ubuntu change which should create any such issue and the bug doesn't happen there. Do you have the bug in using a stock configuration? Do you use the option to display plain text email or something not standard?
