Bug Description

Description: Ubuntu jaunty (development branch)
Release: 9.04

Impact: package does not work in jaunty unless you disable logwtmp.

Verify: install package, and confirm that you don't see this message on connect:
   Mar 31 13:33:36 veyron pppd[17979]: Plugin /usr/lib/pptpd/pptpd-logwtmp.so is for pppd version 2.4.4, this is 2.4.5

Seems a file was missed when the pptpd package was updated.

I turned off logwtmp in the pptpd.conf and it's working but this needs to be updated for correct functionality.

Those dying for a quick fix, just rebuilding the pptpd package works.

most likely it just needs a rebuild against the new ppp package. so try to build pptpd package locally and see if that fixes it.

uploaded a no change rebuild to my ppa: https://edge.launchpad.net/~asac/+archive/ppa ... check in a few hours to test it.

Yes, I routinely do this while jaunty final and karmic have the same
version.
