foo2zjs does not print with custom paper sizes

Bug Description

Binary package hint: foo2zjs

The foo2zjs from upstream does not work with custom paper sizes when the PDF printing workflow (PDF as standard print job format, Intrepid and Jaunty) is applied. The problem is that the foo2zjs Ghostscript wrapper scripts expect the custom paper size setting embedded in the PostScript input data stream and in the PDF workflow the custom page size is supplied as command line option. I have fixed this problem in Jaunty and would like to apply the fix also to Intrepid.

I attach the debdiff for the fix in Intrepid.

I am beginning to think that it is just me ;) although the moon is waxing crescent and not full.

No luck at my end, I'm afraid. I installed foo2zjs from -proposed (in fact just for good measure I installed all recommended and proposed since they encompassed cups*). Behaviour hasn't changed. I must be missing something obvious.

Enclosed is the job log from /var/log/cups/error_log.

Pavneet, thank you for your log, but unfortunately it is cut before the interesting part. Can you try your last test again?

To make sure you have the correct packages do:

dpkg -l | grep foo2zjs

Attach also your /usr/bin/foo2zjs-wrapper file. Do not compress it.

Pavneet Arora, I have set this bug report to "verification-done" as now the custopm page size setting is carried on to the driver and not ignored any more.

Please try the fit-to-page/fitplot option. In system-config-printer right-click the printer icon and mark "Fit to Page" on the "Job Options" screen.

Pavneet Arora, your log files are 100 % OK. The last log file does not contain any error and the driver is called with your custom paper size.
