Bug Description

Binary package hint: listen

I have noticed that the slider does not allow you to pan through a song, nor do the skip next and back buttons work as fast forward and rewind. I combination, this effectively renders the player incapable of scanning through a song. This may be thought of as a non-existent, or yet-to-be-implemented feature by some, but to me, this is a massive defect. Other than this, it's an awesome player and manager, but I just noticed this and this is just a pathetic embarrassment as far as I'm concerned! Could someone look into why this basic, expected, low-level feature of panning was overlooked!?

Hi,

I noticed that I can use the slider now, but if I rewind to the beginning of the song, then I can't hear any sound for a while.
For exemple, I let my song play for 30sec and rewind to the begining. Then I won't hear anything for about 30sec, but the slider is still moving. My music seems to play. After those 30sec, I can hear sound back.

I'm using listen - 0.5-5ubuntu2 on an up-to-date Intredip.

If you need me to do more report, just ask.

Note : It only happens when I rewind to the very begining of the song. If I rewind to "start of song"+5 seconds, everything works.
