Package: zope3
Version: 3.0.93-1
Severity: serious
Justification: fails to build on release candidate arch.

zope3 fails to build from source on m68k. This is likely due
to bug #317475 on gcc-4.0. As a workaround, you might try compiling with
less optimization (-O2 usually works) or gcc-3.3/gcc-3.4.

A full buildd log is available at
<http://buildd.debian.org/build.php?pkg=zope3&ver=3.0.93-1&arch=m68k>

Other buildd logs may be available at
<http://buildd.debian.org/build.php?arch=&pkg=zope3>

I'm not sure compiling with ("-02") would fix the problem.
Anyway, I've read on planet.d.o (but I'm not sure) that gcc
has been fixed for m68k, so no workaround are needed.

Is this true?

Should be. I'll requeue the build and we'll see for sure.

I'm not sure compiling with ("-02") would fix the problem.
Anyway, I've read on planet.d.o (but I'm not sure) that gcc=20
has been fixed for m68k, so no workaround are needed.=20

Reading the buildd logs, gcc 4 compiles zope3 on m68k without ICEs.
Closing this bug report.
