Does this still happen with 0.24? It shouldn't - there are no references to hostnae-desktop

Yes, this still with another reference (mythbuntu,xhostname-desktop) on line core.py:1526

This bug was fixed in the package mythbuntu-control-centre - 0.25-0ubuntu1
