Binary package hint: apt-mirror

 The attached patch causes apt-mirror to also mirror (Packages|Sources).bz2 files. Even though the script actually uses the .gz files, many clients actually look for the .bz2 files first, so it seems to make sense to put them in place and have them available for the

To get your fix (or workaround) included in Ubuntu, try transforming it into debdiff (http://wiki.ubuntu.com/PackagingGuide/Recipes/Debdiff) and submitting it for review (http://wiki.ubuntu.com/SponsorshipProcess).

I've installed apt-mirror from hardy repos:

I'm using it to mirror the Nexenta APT repositories [1], but I can't see any Packages.bz2 in my dist folder [2].

Any thoughts?

It's only fixed in intrepid and following (jauty, karmic).
