Bug Description
[Impact]
the brightness of the internal panel can get set to the lowest value when going through the display modes and back to internal-only mode
this is fixed in a later upstream release, but that can't be backported so a distro patch is needed
[Test case]
use the laptop hotkey to switch between modes until you get a blank internal panel
[Regression potential]
slim, the patch is simple enough

should be a non-issue on utopic, at least with SNA
