Bug Description

Binary package hint: kvm

The file /usr/share/kvm/linux_boot.bin seems to be missing. That makes it impossible to boot kvm under some configurations. If I copy "linux_boot.bin" from the qemu package everything works fine.

Hm, the debian bugreport claims that kvm does not support that yet, but it works just fine for me (just copying the qemu file).

This bug was fixed in the package kvm - 1:59+dfsg-0ubuntu3

---------------
kvm (1:59+dfsg-0ubuntu3) hardy; urgency=low

  * Add init script to load kvm modules. (LP: #104297)
  * Install linux_boot.bin to enable -kernel option. (LP: #111884)
