Bug Description

The binary packages computer-janitor and computer-janitor-gtk should be removed from Quantal. Nothing reverse-depends on build-deps on them, and the source package is broken beyond reasonable repair. It is a Python 2 application that incestuously depends on bits from Update Manager, which is a Python 3 application (and library). As bug #1035869 shows, CJ is completely broken, but worse than that, it is not worth fixing. Most of us have long considered CJ potentially dangerous and a bad idea. If anything, cleaning up your system should be subsumed by UM or Software Center.

If there's no transition to worry about, removal doesn't need release team review :)

Comment: requested by barry; Python 2 application depending on bits from Python 3 update-manager, thus broken, and not worth fixing; should be subsumed by update-manager or software-center; LP: #1050071
