Note that the Jamulus project provides "official" Ubuntu packages at https:/
Also, Jamulus has been included in Debian unstable/testing and buster-backports. The Debian maintainer also packages the same versions for Ubuntu in his PPA: https:/
Still, for some reason or another you may prefer the packages in this PPA.
The packages are built on Ubuntu 18.04 and will work on any later release as well, including Ubuntu 20.04 and Debian. (From 3.8.0 jamulus doesn't build on 16.04 any longer).
Note that if you use apt-add-repository or create a file under /etc/apt/sources.d the entry must be like this (with "bionic") since the packages are built on bionic:
deb http://

The Jamulus software enables musicians to perform real-time jam sessions over the internet. There is one server running the Jamulus server software which collects the audio data from each Jamulus client, mixes the audio data and sends the mix back to each client.
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:tormodvolden/jam to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
