* Have core Java (version 4 to 11) expertise esp. around concurrent programming, multi threading, sockets, distributed systems, SQL/NOSQL databases (having developed one - GemFire/GemFireXD/SnappyData), javacc, jdbc/odbc drivers.
* Scala at intermediate level - modified Apache Spark code several ways in depth including code generation, cluster manager, task scheduler etc.
* C/C++ is little bit rusty by now w.r.t c11, but have developed compiler, OLTP applications, OR mapper, guaranteed messaging system & publish-subscribe mechanism back in 2007.
* Advanced knowledge of several databases like microsoft sqlserver, oracle, mysql, memsql, cassandra, scylladb.
* Scaling using kafka and integration with databases for zero message loss.
* Python at a intermediate level but can ramp up quickly because I have already dealt with vmware nsx deployments for testing automation sometime back.
* Can handle various other tasks related to Bash shell scripting, linux server administration, ufw/firewalld based firewall configuration, jenkins/git/subversion setup, configuration & CICD workflow.
* Beginner level publishing with Latex (using TexMaker & TexStudio).
* Have beginner level knowledge of machine learning (implemented stratified sampling) & user level know how of other algorithms.
* Experience with big data management upto 100TB & high performance computing upto 10 nodes cluster.
* Proficient level at cloud deployments with aws (awscli, root account administration) & packet clouds.
* Intermediate level at provisioning and automation with ansible, vagrant, packer.
* Advanced user of containerization using docker, docker-swarm, kubernetes (calico, flannel etc n/w optimization with Ena & Sriov support, block device volume optimization), helm charts.
* Opensource developer and contributor to gemfire, apache spark (cbo), snappydata & syslogng.

* Avid user of Ubuntu & Mint for past 9 years.
