POCNG Backports
PPA description
Provides backports for new upstream versions to current Ubuntu LTS versions:
* Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (Bionic Beaver), supported until April 2023
The packages are often plain backports from newer Ubuntu or Debian versions. In some cases I updated the packages myself, added some small fixes or did a few necessary changes to make the backport possible. See the changelogs for more details.
*Please note that if using this PPA I would *not* try upgrading to 18.10/19.04, ect. Do a fresh install instead. The intent here is just for users wishing to stay on one of the LTS versions above.*
If upgrading anyway use ppa-purge first:
sudo ppa-purge ppa:rexut/
Also note that with apt-get a sudo apt-get dist-upgrade is needed for initial setup & with some package upgrades.
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:rexut/pocng-recoil to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:rexut/pocng-recoil
sudo apt update
