Wesnoth Releases
PPA description
This PPA offers the latest stable/devel releases (whichever branch is newer) of Battle for Wesnoth for a selection of currently supported Ubuntu releases.
It is done by the same people who do the official packages and follows the same quality guidelines for it.
Packages for the Wesnoth 1.18 series are currently available for:
- 24.04 / noble
- 22.04 / jammy
Packages for the Wesnoth 1.16 series will no longer be updated. They are currently available for:
- 24.04 / noble - already up-to-date in Ubuntu universe; PPA not needed
- 22.04 / jammy
- 20.04 / focal
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:pkg-games/wesnoth-devel to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:pkg-games/wesnoth-devel
sudo apt update
