This is where you developers in order to join the development team. This group:

1. Are mentored where necessary on working on bug fixes and new packages
2. Gains experience with OSF development process
3. Submits code and requests reviews of suggested changes so that the maintenance team for the project which the changes are meant for:
a. reviews the packages prepared by the prospective developer
b. provide constructive feedback
c. upload the package when they are satisfied with its quality
