Hola!

Hi! I installed Ubuntu’s “Hoary Hedgehog” a few months ago (the name for the current version “Breezy Badger” is so much more dignified) and was delighted to find that it detected EVERYTHING straight off on my old Acer 525TX! I particularly liked Synaptic, since it helps newbies who don’t yet know how to install Linux programs. Makes life easy.

I believe in sharing everything reasonable: i.e. anything that doesn’t cost me when I help my neighbour. The economy of open source/free software is extremely logical and fits in perfectly with our economy. You just have to understand. I’ll deal with it some other time; see if I can get it right! ;-)
