Hewlett Packard 2400 free opensource driver
PPA description
This PPA contains patched version of libsane (http://www.sane-project.org), which offers improved support of Hewlett Packard ScanJet 2400 scanner.
With this driver you can use all modes in any mix:
DPI: 50/100/150/300/600/1200
Color: Color, Gray, LineArt
Bits per channel: 8 (24-bit color), 16 (48-bit color).
This work already sent upstream to sane-project.

You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:lion-simba/hp2400-genesys to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
