I've been playing with Linux off and on since the early 90s. Starting off in computing, I moved into astrononomy technology where I now administrate Linux servers and Mac workstations.
While I've had several horrible problems with wireless cards in laptops, I have been VERY impressed with Ubuntu's successes and use it on one of my laptops.
