Hello World.
I started my computer experience with the the DEC Mini PDP8e and Basic computer language.
Then off to ROM based machines made by OSI (Ohio Scientific) using the 6502 processor and Basic once again.
Then the Apple II, then MAC and also IBM PC, and learning the C language.
HP UX and SCO Unix fit in there somewhere.
In the early 1990's it was Yggdrasil Linux and Slackware, and a bit with FreeBSD,
then Red Hat, Caldera (-->SCO Linux), and SUSE.
Nowadays it's Red Hat for work servers and Ubuntu/Mint Desktop.
I use Linux every day in a company where all the other desktops are Windows and I survive.
I do have virtual machines running Windows when needed for specific tasks, which are few but needed.
