I'm a native Texan and I'm an 'ol Slacker, and learned Linux on Slackware back in '98. I got interested in Debian Linux a few years ago and then moved right on over to Ubuntu and Kubuntu, where I feel right at home. Currently running Ubuntu 64 'Natty Narwhal' on my main desktop computer and 'Oneiric' on several other computers on my LAN at home.

I currently use Linux computer systems for all of my desktop and 'server' computers and run several virtual private networks between Oklahoma, and Texas. I'm a Free and Open Source Software advocate and developer, systems manager, administrator and activist.

I'm a computer 'geek' and have worked for several major corporations, including Conoco, Inc., Sprint, Communications Engineering Corp., Atlantis Trading Corp., and others and have performed a wide variety of technical and management positions in the Telecommunications, Computer and Internet Technology industries.

So, I'm also a Scientologist. Look out! Heheh. Seriously! I've been a Scientologist since '88 shortly after reading "Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health". Dianetics and Scientology rock! Ignore the silly rumors and think for yourself! Check it out! http://www.dianetics.org and http://www.scientology.org

Also I like to play the ancient Oriental board game known as Japanese Go. That's where I got my username, Sabaki, which is a Go term for 'development'. For info about Go, go to: http://www.usgo.org/index.asp
