PPA description
This PPA contains the current unstable Debian network-manager package reworked for Ubuntu Trusty (and maybe later Utopic).
These packages are only useful for solving the issue in which Network-Manager won't properly create bridge interfaces (such as those you would attach to a VM or LXC container) and disabling Network-Manager and configuring interfaces manually would cause other issues (e.g. loss of easy ability to manage VPN connections).
I have tested these packages on two laptops that get heavy use and have found no glaring issues but I certainly haven't tested every possible scenario. Go ahead and give them a try if you're game but have a backup plan to revert in case everything goes bad.
Adding this PPA to your system
You can update your system with unsupported packages from this untrusted PPA by adding ppa:9v-shaun-42/networkmanager to your system's Software Sources. (Read about installing)
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:9v-shaun-42/networkmanager
sudo apt update
