New development branch

While I am no longer working on WebContentControl at the moment, someone else did:
ssoulaimane created a git repository (starting from the v1.3.7 source tarball) at https:/
I imported his branch into launchpad here:
https:/
The main changes seem to be:
-Debian support
-Arch Linux packaging
-upgrade to Gambas3
-support for the systemd and sysv startup systems
-arabic translation
-support for right-to-left languages
-scalable icons
Check the commit logs for more details.
I would like to merge his work into the main branch (and clean up the branches in general) and create a new release.
Unfortunately, I do not know when I will find the time to do it.
So if you want a working WebContentControl and the current PPA packages and/or source are broken, you could give ssoulaimane's repository a try.

IMPORTANT NOTE TO INTERESTED DEVELOPERS: If you wish to work on WebContentControl:
1) Please use bazaar version control if possible (I would not mind migrating to git, but do not know how to do it on Launchpad yet.)
2) Please start from the main development branch ( lp:~zohn-joidberg/webcontentcontrol/main )
3) If you would like to join the development team or even take over the project, please let me know.
