Hi,

I just upgraded to intrepid and ran into the same issue as mentioned above, a black screen when starting X.

root@twins:~# lspci | grep ATI
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: ATI Technologies Inc RV630 [Radeon HD 2600 Series]
01:00.1 Audio device: ATI Technologies Inc RV630/M76 audio device [Radeon HD 2600 Series]

I tried xserver-xorg-video-radeon_6.9.0+git20081003.f9826a56-0ubuntu3~nodither_i386.deb from the one above, but that doesn't seem to help.
