HorizScrollDelta has been set by default to 0, i.e. disabled, by the ubuntu installer, on my laptop too.

There's no need to attach conffile and log. Instead, a configuration in the preferences menu or the system administration menu should be provided to enable the horizontal scroll or it should be enabled by default. Also circular scrolling does not harm and is very useful, and should be enabled by default in my opinion, why are both these options disabled?
