After some thinkering, if I put the screens in ascending order in the xorg configuration, the patch seems to work properly!

I ordered my screens like this:

    Screen 0 "Screen0" 0 0
    Screen 1 "Screen1" RightOf "Screen0"
    Screen 2 "Screen2" RightOf "Screen1"
