Bug Description

The synaptic touchpad drag-to-scroll does not work on my Sharp MM20. This is a regression from Breezy.

I've attached my lspci -n and xorg.conf. Please let me know if I can provide any other information.

this is also a problem for my eMachines M6805. The scroll down bar on my touchpad works fine in Breezy, but no longer in Dapper Drake (Beta).

Scrolling also broke for me after moving from breezy to dapper on my Asus A6U.
I also have the strange behavior when I glide my finger on the touchpad back and forth across the border between the vertical scroll area and the main touchpad. The mouse pointer jumps to the right and left, whichever direction my finger is moving, about 150-200 pixels.
Do you guys also have this behavior?

Matthew, are you sure this is a duplicate? 40021 is about horizontal
scrolling, while 37788 is about vertical scrolling.
