Comment 23 for bug 374782

i have now added the file rfcomm.rules (contents 'KERNEL=="rfcomm", GROUP="dialout" ') to the rules.d directory. still get the permission denied msg when attempting to print a test page. your explanation of this patch was better than original which i did not understand. i am in 9.04 (jaunty). i have the 9.10 disk on order, but would hope to solve this problem more immediately - CD may not arrive for weeks.
