What we don't have yet is the ubuntubeta mono font, for terminal applications and indeed monospaced comments like this on launchpad.net. This would push up the size of the package for inclusion from 719K to something a bit bigger. I also don't think that many people have been using it as the default desktop font, just as a font in documents and so on. There was as far as I recall no specific request to beta testers to change their theme to use the new font. Having just done so, I think it is pretty nice. This is going to totally upset the documentation people taking screenshots after UI freeze though (although they could easily change the font and then take the screenshots if they have access to the font). I also imagine the name of the font will change from Ubuntubeta to Ubuntu which might have some minor implications.
