I already have a work-around, that's not the issue. It's easy to use the normal IMAP account creation process to add a Gmail IMAP account.

The problem described in the bug report is that the Account Creation Wizard has an option for Gmail, but that Gmail choice is specifically missing the ability to create an IMAP account.
