I did the same for update 12 that was recently released.

Is this a typo?
sudo ln -s sudo ln -s /opt/jdk1.6.0_11/jre/lib/i386/libnpjp2.so

I think you meant
sudo ln -s /opt/jdk1.6.0_11/jre/lib/i386/libnpjp2.so
