I tried to reproduce yesterday (with Ubuntu maverick and qBittorrent v2.4.0) but it seemed to work fine. How long does it take to eat so much memory?
Also, Qt has been updated to 4.7 stable very recently on Maverick. Please make sure this does not solve the issue.
