Comment 23 for bug 295832

I can confirm and reproduce this bug once again. I came here after I attempted to override pcm.!default in my user-level configuration through .asoundrc.
I could not understand why it did not work until I typed in `aplay -L' to see that /usr/share/alsa/pulse-alsa.conf was overwriting it based on the description.
