Comment 18 for bug 382379

The needed CUPS patches are now uploaded to the BZR repository at Debian and soon a package for Karmic will be uploaded. The new Poppler package is already available for Karmic.

For the time being please keep on testing with my pdftops test script and report everything what you observe. Also everyone who reads this bug report without being affected by the mentioned problems is encouraged to test my pdftops filter or the upcoming Karmic package of CUPS.

The next step will be an SRU (Stable Release Update) of Jaunty's Poppler and CUPS packages, so that the problems get solved for Jaunty users.
