I hope it is ok to follow up within this bug report although it is already marked as "Fix released".

Unfortunately, newer Nokia 6300 firmware revisions (7.00 and 7.21) still exhibit this bug, but are not covered by the recently released patch.

I created a patch that corrects this (see attachment) and uploaded the resulting kernel to my PPA (currently still building):

I will also update the upstream bugzilla report.

Would it be possible to correct this in the official kernel with the next bugfix release?
