Comment 93 for bug 257827

Does Xfce and KDE also use gnome-power-manager? I'm experience the same problem in Lubuntu and Kubuntu. Brightness change 3 steps at a time.
I found a workaround is to push {Home} and {End} together. That only increases the brightness by 1 step.
