In fact gnome-power-manager has it, and not only this issue. But patched gnome-power-manager (https:/ /bugs.launchpad .net/ubuntu/ +source/ gnome-power- manager/ +bug/527157) solves everething with brightness for my LG X110(MSI WIND clone).
That patch add /apps/gnome- power-manager/ backlight/ brightness_ in_hardware key.
