I can reproduce this bug with the 2.6.24-21-server and 2.6.24-19-server on hardy/x68_64.
Did you progress with this problem? I am currently trying to setup a Sun Fire X4600 with Hardy/Server and this is actually the latest and most important of three show-stopper Kernel-related bugs I've encountered so far.
All of them are known for some month now, and all of them seem to be related to 2.6.24 only.
Honestly, this release (hardy) looks like beeing far away from the proffessionality you guys claim to provide. I mean this is a LTS release, isn't it?
