Comment 7 for bug 25896

I also have this problem. After hibernate, my sound refuses to work, and programs that do use sound (media players like beep and exaile) freeze when i try to play a song and i have to force quit them

but after a restart sound comes back.

I am using edgy, kernel 2.6.17-10-generic
